My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Angeliki 2 years ago, that we decided to come back a second time this year – what a good decision that was 😊 After an easy 10 minute taxi journey from the airport, we were very warmly greeted by Penelope, who welcomed us and showed us both our rooms. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable; we spent most of our evenings in the room upstairs which was so spacious with a large private balcony overlooking the sea and with a gorgeous view of Kefalonia. They were furnished with everything we needed for a totally relaxed stay: a kitchen area including an oven, hobs, microwave, coffee machine, plenty of cutlery and kitchenware; the air conditioning worked perfectly and was easy to adjust to how we wanted it; lots of wardrobe space; TV etc. The rooms including the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and Penelope and the cleaners very kindly worked around our morning schedule so we would leave for breakfast and come back to a perfectly clean and lovely smelling apartment which made a big difference. We spent a lot of time in the private seaside area just a few metres from the apartments as it was nice and quiet, always enough lounge chairs for us and really convenient getting down to the sea and back up again. There is also an outdoor shower just outside the apartment entrance to wash off the sea water which was great. Because of this we didn’t feel the need to travel to other seafronts, but we occasionally walked down to the Gradakia beach, a short 5 min walk from Angeliki, which was also very nice. We didn’t hire a car, but it was only a 20 minute walk to Argostoli from the apartments so we could also visit this beautiful town anytime. Overall we had such a fantastic stay here, the apartments being so lovely and the location of Angeliki being so close to the beaches, shops and great restaurants meant there were no problems with our stay and we could fully relax. We had an exceptional stay at Helios villa. The villa has everything you could need throughout your stay. Is located in a lovely part of lassi and has the most amazing host Penelope! We had the most relaxing holiday and would recommend this villa to anyone.
